Welcome to the 2025 edition of the LYRC competition. Make it, together with VEX Robotics, is organising a youth tournament in robotics, based upon the best pedagogical kits available on the market.
LYRC will feature three different levels of tournaments, starting from 10 years on.

"Capture the Flag" (CTF) Challenge
Ages 10 to 14 / Alter 10 - 14 Jahre
Technische Challenge, basierend auf block-programmierbare Roboter, wie z.B. Dash, makeblock mBot oder ähnlich. Die Challenge besteht darin, die Fahne des Gegners schnellstmöglichst zu erobern. Die Roboter werden vor Ort programmiert mit deiner eigenen hardware (iPad, Laptop,…) und nur Block-Programmiersprachen sind erlaubt (Scratch, mBlock, Blockly, …).
Bring deinen eigenen Roboter und Programmierhardware mit!
Stellt euch der Herausforderung mit eurem team (bis zu 20 Personen) !
Technical challenge, based a block programmable bot, such as the Dash, makeblock robots or similar. The challenge is to gain access to the opponent’s flag in a minimum of time. Robots will be programmed on site using your hardware (iPad, Laptop, etc) but exclusively with a block-based coding system (Scratch, mBlock, Blockly, …).
Bring your own robot & coding hardware!
With your team (up to 20 persons), present your robot to solve the challenges.
VEX IQ Challenge
Ages 11 to 14 / Alter 11 - 14 Jahre
The VEX IQ challenge is the category on our LYRC tournament targeted to 10 to 14 year old. This challenge can be tackled with an IQ robotics kit from VEX robotics and has interesting challenges.
With your team (up to 6 persons), present your robot to solve the VEX IQ challenge. More information here !

VEX V5 Robotics Challenge
Ages 14 to 18 / Alter 14 - 18 Jahre
The VEX Robotics challenge is the highest category on our LYRC tournament. This challenge can be tackled with a V5 robotics kit from VEX robotics and has interesting challenges.
With your team (up to 5 persons + 1 mentor), present your robot to solve the VEX challenges. More information here!
